Kevin graduated from Simon Fraser University where he received a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in active health and rehabilitation. While studying at SFU, he also worked as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, which gave him significant experience educating, and developing exercise programs for people of all age groups and varying levels of fitness.
While growing up in Port Coquitlam, Kevin competed in various sports, including soccer, judo and powerlifting, which led him to learn more about injury management and prevention through personal experience and sparked his interest in Kinesiology.
Kevin believes that the best way to approach active rehabilitation is through proper education, so that clients have the knowledge and confidence to perform the exercises within their personalized program in a safe, efficient and effective manner. He uses a variety of exercise methods in his program design so that clients will have a collection of tools that they can integrate into their lives inside and outside of the clinic with ease.
In his spare time, Kevin can be found weightlifting at home, going for a run along the Poco trail, or inside the kitchen pretending he’s on MasterChef. Kevin also enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping.
